Hi Jolanda, David & Luca,

Our time there was so wonderful – it goes down in the books as my new favorite vacation.  You are such warm and kind people – you are naturals in your roles as host, hostess and mini host (Luca).  I could’ve stayed a month. 

The cabina was kept so nice and clean and the fresh towels daily were much appreciated, so please pass that on to the sweet woman who cleaned for us.  She always had such a nice smile on her face.

Isaac was a trusty boat captain and took good care of us on Cano Island while we snorkeled.  The young men who kept the grounds picked up do an excellent job and were always willing to help with a smile.

The experience of spending several days with other people from all over the globe was a treat that can’t be duplicated.  I’m sorry that we’re lazy Americans who only know one language.  I hope that Luca will teach me some things next time I’m there.  I better plan on staying awhile to get as smart as he is!  You have established such a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere that we all can’t help but like one another.  So much to learn from people from different cultures.  That is a gift that I have never been lucky enough to experience and I thank you for it.

Dear Jolanda and David,

I just wanted to send a note to tell you what an absolute
pleasure it was to meet you both -- and Luca of course!   Our visit to Osa and our stay with you was definitely the highlight of our trip to Costa Rica.  We enjoyed ourselves from the minute we stepped onto the property, right through the boat ride back to Sierpe (everyone should make that trip with David -- It was fantastic!!).  We were just blown away by your generous hospitality and we can't stop talking about it to everyone we meet!  You made us feel so comfortable and welcome I do wish we got to talk with you both more -- amazing how quickly the 5 days flew!  If only we could have stayed longer . . .but I'm sure we will be back!

Hallo Jolanda! 

Wir wollten Dir jetzt einfach nochmal sagen, daß wir uns bei euch total wohlgefühlt haben und wir  unsere letzten Urlaubstage nochmal richtig genießen konnten. Es hat uns unheimlich gut gefallen und falls wir mal wieder nach Costa Rica kommen, dann bestimmt auch beim Las Caletas vorbei. Liebe Jolanda, wir danken Dir für die wunderschönen Tage bei euch und macht weiter so. Das Essen war köstlich, das Beste was wir in Costa Rica bekommen haben. Dei Staff ist auch sehr nett und freundlich. Das Zimmer war auch immer sauber. Es war für unseren letzten Tage in CostaRica einfach perfekt!  Nun wünschen wir Dir und David und Luca ein schönes Weihnachtsfest und auch dem Staff!! Macht weiter so in eurem Paradies, dass noch viele Menschen sich wunderbar bei euch erholen können!   Vielen, vielen Dank für alles und wir werden dich immer in guter Erinnerung behalten und dich auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!  Wir wünschen euch weiterhin alles,alles Gute!

Hola Jolanda and family- Just wanted to extend our warmest thanks again to you, your family and staff at Cabinas Las Caletas.  We had a wonderful time and feel fortunate to have discovered your lovely spot.  A special thanks to you and the women who work in the kitchen with you for your inspiration- I bought a Costa Rican cookbook in San Jose and have tried my hand at "la comida typica"...the beans turned out great, but I still haven't perfected the rice!  (of course I expected this!) Also, please thank William and Eric for their dance instructions and
inspiration...I signed up for a Latin dance exercise class this week...maybe I'll be a better dancer the next time we return...and my kids may even eat rice!?  We miss you all and will never forget our time with you in Osa.

Take Care and best wishes for the coming year.  We look forward to staying with you again.

I can't tell you what our time in Las Caletas meant to the family,
relaxing, nurturing, and exciting all wrapped into one.  When sharing tales about our trip we inevitably start and end with the trip to Drake  Bay and the amazing slice of paradise we were privileged to enjoy for 5 days.  We hope to indeed return and will be sending others your way in the mean time.
